Department of Sociology
DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY
Founded in 1977 as Behavioral Sciences under the Faculty of Social Sciences, the department has been restructured
as Sociology under the Faculty of Letters. Today, it is one of the oldest Sociology departments in Turkey with 9 faculty members.
Since 1979, the department is operating with master's and Ph.D. programs in 4 major fields.
