The Journal of Sociology, prepared for publication by the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Letters at Ege University, is published twice a year, in May and November. The aim of the Journal of Sociology is to present theoretical and applied sociology studies conducted in Turkey and around the world and to bring these studies together with the relevant academic audience. The journal generally includes studies in sociology and the social sciences. These studies are expected to contribute to the field at both theoretical and applied levels and to offer a new perspective in terms of content. Articles in Turkish and English are published, primarily in sociology and in the broader field of social sciences. Article submissions are ongoing.

The Journal of Sociology is indexed in Index Copernicus, MLA International Bibliography, ERIH PLUS, Acar Index, and Asos Index.
